Just like when I started taking photos, I had no idea where I would end up, I feel the same about this writing journey. However, all my journeys have taught me this, it gets better with time and opportunities show up the further along you go. I just have to take them and run with them. Assuming they fit the grand vision for my life, of course.
About the photo tour…
Before I start wrapping up this nice little (as in long) post, I will be sharing some of the photos from the past in this post. I will have a link available at the very end to take you to some of the pages I’m creating to host these images. Of course I’m open to feedback. Even if those pics are quiet old. I still can learn.
As time passes, improvements will continue to be made. That’s just the way to keep life fun and worthwhile. Always learning. Always adjusting the focus on the lens. Always figuring out new things.
I will be starting the tour with some of the photos I’ve practiced on. The tour is not chronological. The choice of stories is not in sequence to how they played out. This is just me having more fun learning the skills I need to learn to be a better artist. I’m just taking you along for some of the ride as I figure out how to continue forward.
All the years of waiting until everything was perfect to release into the wild has only resulted in many years flying by with nothing to show for them. (not literally, but you get my point). So, now, I’m just doing openly what I do. Experiment and learn along the way.
Thank you all for following the blog. For those who kept reading, now you have a better appreciation why I’ve done so many motivational Monday posts. I was talking myself up to press on with my dreams and goals. Those aren’t going away, by the way.
To those who have encouraged me, thank you so much. My slow micro progress may look like I’m not applying what you’ve shared, but trust me, it has been super helpful. I hope to be a lot more transparent in 2018 with what I share… which bothers my introvert side a lot… however… I want to get better at this.
I encourage you to keep moving towards your dreams. Keep working the strategy. Keep adapting. Keep learning. Most importantly, keep applying what you learn. That way you can keep your lens properly focus on getting to your destination while enjoying the journey.
